Chestnut Tailed Starling

This Pale grey looking starling has pale and blue based yellow bill. The adult has grey head with spiky feathers around its crown, sides of the neck and throat. The upper parts are darker grey with back wings. The nest is built on wood peckers hole, nesting is between march to June , they fly in flocks There is very little difference between male and female. Both sexes share similar coloration and markings making it difficult to distinguish based on appearance alone while some observers note subtle difference in the depth of the color of the tail feathers with males having darker tails this is not a reliable indicator and requires care full observation,
