Rufous Tailed Lark

This bird is mainly found in grass areas in India and Pakistan. It is also called the rufous tailed finch lark. Males and females are indistinguishable in field but during breeding season male has a courtship display that involves flying up steeply and then nose diving and pulling up in series of step wavy dips accompanied by calling. The breeding season is from feb to may and the nest is built on ground clutch consists of 2 to 4 eggs they are pale creamy and white.
