Purple Swamphen
It is also known as the sultana bird, this bird has a large feet, pairs nest is a large pad of inter wowen reed floating on debris, 3 to 6 eggs are laid, the eggs are spotted with reddish brown. The incubation period is 27 days and performed by both sexes. Young chicks are fed by parents for 14 days.
