Spotted dove

The spotted dove is a large resident bird, looks similar to the oriental turtle dove, the difference is the large black patch on its nape and the sides of its neck are spotted white . The brownish feathers have buff tips. Which gives it a spotted appearance . It is mainly seen in gardens and cultivated areas. It has a soft mournful sound.
