Bull headed shrike
Shrikes are short passerines with sturdy hook tipped bill and long tails. They are skilled hunters of the open country occupy a vantage point from where they can scoop down to catch their prey. They were also called butcher birds. Bull headed shrike, this bird is a rare species of shrike found in India it is similar to the brown shrike, it has a brown grey head with crystal white breast. I spotted this shrike on my recent trip to kaziranga.
