Painted stork
This tall long leg stork has a long heavy yellow bill that curves downwards near the tip. It is white overall with a bare pink face and black lesser coverts and breast band. It has pink legs and pink tertials that hang over its black tail and white undertail coverts. The sexes look similar, while the juvenile has a pale bill and a dusky brown face neck and coverts. It is mainly found in rajasthan, eastern parts and southeast, Breeding time is from august to November. Nest is a platform of green and dry sticks with a shallow depression in the center eggs 2-4 sullied white both parents share their duties, food is fish, reptiles, frogs and insects. Voice silent except for clattering. At nest both sexes produce a greeting moan. Chicks produce a scraping noise while begging for food.
