Runner duck
This is a local duck the information of this bird is not found in any books. They stand erect like penguins and have a white patch on the neck. It is mainly found in India , Indonesia. These ducks donot fly. The females lay 300-350 eggs a year . They are often taken by people for cooking on festive days as they meat is very tasty which is called as duck moel.
