long tailed shrike
It has grey head and a mantle and a black mask extending from the forehead to the ear coverts.It has black wings and very long black tail with a rufous base. The underparts are white with rufous flanks. The eastern race has a complete black head and a mantle. This bird pic was taken by me in nhava shiva very popular bird that area. I was really impressed when I first saw this bird because it will hang on a wire for sometime then flyaway then again come back at the same place
