This is a Novo six horsepower model S vertical engine. Date manufactured: 1922 Serial number: 76301. Manufactured in Lansing Michigan. Four cycle operation, hit and miss. Capable of clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. Flywheels: 24" diameter. Bore: 5.75" X 7" Stroke RPM: 475. Weight: 800 lbs. 2" diameter crankshaft. Governor: Hit-Miss manually adjustable. Hopper type water cooling. Ignition: High tension buzz coil. Fuel: Gasoline, (this model). Uses a constant level mixer, (no float operation). Gas tank in base: Capacity 6 US gallons This engine has removable valve cages.
